Summary
The supervisor will oversee and coordinate various construction trades, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate construction trades, including bricklayers, plasterers, floorers, tilers, painters, decorators, carpenters, joiners, and roofers.
• Plan and schedule construction activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, collaborating with team members to find solutions.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to construction trades workers as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a supervisor or foreperson in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction trades, techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
