Our client is currently seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to assist with a backlog of projects in social housing. This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of approximately 6 months. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating properties, identifying maintenance and repair needs, and providing expert advice to ensure the safety and quality of social housing.
In this role, your previous experience as a Building Surveyor will be essential. You will be responsible for conducting property surveys, preparing detailed reports, and recommending appropriate maintenance and repair solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient management of the backlog, ensuring that all social housing properties meet regulatory standards and provide safe and comfortable living environments for residents.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications of a Building Surveyor:
• Degree in Building Surveying
• Previous experience as a Building Surveyor, preferably with experience in social housing.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and residents.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
