Summary
We have immediate start positions available for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work within one of our care homes within the Chesterfield area.
This beautiful home provides residential, dementia and respite care to the service users. They offer a person-centred care with residents encouraged to lead an enriched life, supported by an engaging social programme packed full of clubs, trips out and regular entertainment.
Your role will be to follow personalised care plans which will enable the residents to live as independently as possible. You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.
Other responsibilities may include filling in relevant paperwork, reporting any issues to senior staff – and just generally providing a friendly face!
We are looking for dedicated individuals that truly care about making a difference to people’s lives daily – if you are one of those people then we would love to hear from you!
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Have a referenceable work history
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this with training available online at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This is an ongoing position
working time across the week are 0600-1400 and 1400-2200
Rate of is £11.44 rising to £15.25 after 7pm
