Who are Acis Group?

We began as a social landlord providing homes in West Lindsey. Now we provide over 7,000 affordable homes across the East
Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. Our homes include ones for affordable rent, Shared Ownership, people aged 55 and over and
supported housing – but now, we do so much more. We take our roles in our customer’s lives seriously, putting them first in

In addition, there are over 4,000 learners a year are supported in local communities stretching from Sheffield to Mablethorpe –
with everything from entry level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses through to employability support to help people fulfil
their potential. This is through Riverside Training, our employment and skills team, and CLIP, an education provider.




Your role is to ensure that we have great and safe facilities across our student portfolio, which are compliant with the
ever-evolving legislation and regulation. We want them to be inviting, to look great and most importantly to be a welcoming ‘home
and community’ that our students feel proud to be a part of. You will be passionate about ensuring students have the best possible
experiences with their accommodation and their ‘homes’ whilst they live on site.







As a Site Maintenance Officer, a typical day might include:

* Working on site to ensure that all our stock, grounds and buildings are always maintained to the highest and safest standards.
Working with the Site Services Manager to ensure that we give our people the best service and experience when they have any
maintenance requests or queries.
* Maintaining various records and systems to ensure that we have full and accurate logs and reports in all areas of building
compliance.
* Identifying and planning in all future works, liaising with contractors and ensuring they meet our high standards and
expectations.
* Using our finance system to ensure orders are raised and paid in a timely manner, following the correct protocols.
* Ensuring that you work with your team to make sure we respond to all enquiries in a timely and prompt manner, which is agreed.

* Carry out and complete regular inspection and testing of buildings and grounds, site systems and equipment, ensuring any
remedial work is recorded and completed within set timescales.
* Ensure the site is well maintained, tidy, secure, and welcoming at all times.
* Work with the wider team to ensure that all grounds work is kept tidy and presentable. Such as grass cutting, gardening,
outdoor decorating, and the general upkeep of the grounds.

* Good IT Skills - ensuring all jobs and enquiries are logged efficiently so that we can report on the data and ensure that our
service levels for our people are kept high at all times.
* Working well as a team to ensure that our people always have the best possible experience.
* As a regular point of contact for our people staying with us, you will play a key role in always ensuring the delivery of
excellent customer service..

* Supporting the Site Services Manager to deliver our summer works. Ensuring that we have the sites ready and prepared for any
turnarounds or move in dates.
* Working as part of the team to help promote and welcome our people at Open Days and Move in Weekends.







What looks good to us::

* Working or have worked within Accommodation or Housing Sector.
* Have a ‘can do’ attitude to ensure we exceed our people’s expectations.
* Excellent customer service skills and focus at all times.
* Excellent administration skills. You will be detail oriented, organised, and great at planning ahead.
* IT proficient, with the ability to accurately use IT platforms and systems to ensure all works are logged and information is
correct.
* Ability to coordinate, monitor and control contractors.
* Good working knowledge of DIY with at least a basic knowledge of maintenance, plumbing, decorating, plastering and joinery.
* Knowledge and experience of safe working systems of work.
* General awareness of health and safety and building management.
* First aid trained or a willingness to complete the training.
* Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers.



...and what will make you stand out from the crowd:

* Hold a UK driving license.
* Qualification in Joinery, plumbing or construction would be a fabulous addition.
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
* A working knowledge and understanding of relevant building regulation and legislation regarding Purpose Built Student
Accommodation
* MHFA trained or a willingness to partake in further training.
