Summary
Job Title: Interim Head of Repairs
Location: Central London / Hybrid
Contract: 6-months ongoing
Pay: £400 to £500 per day- Inside IR35 - Negotiable
A Central London Local Authority are currently recruiting for an Interim Head of Repairs.
Main Responsibilities
• Support the review of a new repairs organisational structure and operating model. Provide effective leadership to the Repairs Service with a headcount of c. 30 staff. To ensure that the procurement, quality and performance of contractors is at the highest standard for our residents.
• Meaningfully engage with residents to improve services, reduce costs and develop neighbourhoods where people enjoy and want to live.
• Create a culture of performance and budget management where there is a direct link between costs, excellent services and right first-time repairs.
• Drive down the costs and increase satisfaction in the services provided.
• Lead on the streamlining of business processes and systems across the repairs service, including digital to drive efficiencies in service delivery to residents.
• Participate and report on the out of hours service for repairs.
