This post will give an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy Respiratory department whilst working within the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective team working in the respiratory department for the provision of medical care to the patients on the unit.

Full registration with the General Medical Council and Basic Medical Degree (M.B: B.S) are essential. MRCP and previous experience of Respiratory medicine is highly desirable.

Clinical Fellow - Respiratory Medicine

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the junior doctor team within Respiratory Medicine at BHRUT. The post is suitable for FY3/IMT/CMT/ST1 trainee in Medicine or junior doctor with some previous experience in Respiratory Medicine.

The successful applicant will be responsible, with appropriate supervision, for the provision of specialist Respiratory Services within the Trust with responsibility for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various Respiratory conditions.

The post holder will cover the inpatient work on the Respiratory wards together with other junior team members. There would also be opportunities to attend outpatient clinics and involvement in elective work.

On call commitment in GIM, including nights and weekends will also be part of the required duties.
