Summary
Are you a compassionate person looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking 1 or 2 female Personal Assistants to support an 18-year-old young lady who is hearing impaired, (wears hearing aids) with higher functioning Autism and anxiety.
About the Role:
• Location: Wadebridge
• Hours: 5 hrs per week (Friday or Saturday) & 3 x 6hr days during school holidays.
(school holiday days can be flexible and split between 2 people)
• Responsibilities: Safely accompany and support her to engage in community activities, she loves going out.
• Salary: £12/hr (as per Direct Payments) Employed status.
• Requirements: Sense of humour and Car essential, DBS check required (cost covered)
About You:
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the individual.
• Experience with autism and/or hearing impairment preferred but not essential.
• Must like animals as we have a lovely gentle dog and a slow elderly cat that might want to sit with you for some strokes.
