Summary
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 14 year old boy who lives in the Wadebridge area.
He has a diagnosis of Autism and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him to build his independence to access activities in the community. He loves being outdoors and is interested in swimming, walks and outdoor activities.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community with his family or with PA.
Rate of pay £12.00 per hour.
7 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
