Summary
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 6 year old girl who lives in Bodmin.
She has ADHD and high functioning Autism and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support.
She loves being outdoors. A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community.
Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
