We are looking to recruit a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Project Development Officer. With this opportunity you could create a positive impact and change in a young person’s life.

In the role of a Project Development Officer you will be :

    • To support the development of both a Professionals and a Young People’s Employability and Skills Forum made up of young people, community, voluntary, statutory, and business representatives.
    • The post holder will plan, organise, and implement projects for young people, including managing resources, and will contribute to the Communities for Work Plus Young Person’s Guarantee Delivery Plan to achieve clear objectives and targets.
    • To encourage, promote and sign post young people to existing services and facilities where appropriate to build their resilience and wellbeing.
    • To be responsible for establishing good working relationships both internally and externally.

    To be considered for the Project Development Officer role you will need:

      • Degree, relevant experience in the field of Health, or Youth and Community work
      • Experience of project planning and management
      • Ability to work with young people either in a one-to-one basis or in a group work setting.
      • To be IT Literate

      This is a temporary role based in Colwyn Bay for around 8 weeks. The hourly rate for this role is £13.44 per hour holiday pay and is also full time Monday to Friday.
