Summary

Dunbar Education Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Must-Haves:
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with primary ages.
- Possession of a valid driving license; candidates without their own transport will not be considered.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be working primarily with pupils who have sensory needs and are non-verbal. Therefore, experience in supporting individuals with such needs is essential. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and assistance to ensure the academic and personal development of these pupils.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with ASD and primary-aged children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual pupils.
- Possess a kind and caring nature, essential for providing effective support.
- Immediate availability for a start date, pending our compliance checks.
