Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference to children with special educational needs!
Role:
- Working primarily with pupils who have sensory needs and are non-verbal.
- Playing a crucial role in providing tailored support and assistance to ensure the academic and personal development of these pupils.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with primary ages.
- Possession of a valid driving license; candidates without their own transport will not be considered.
- Previous experience working with ASD and primary-aged children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual pupils.
- Possess a kind and caring nature, essential for providing effective support.
- Immediate availability for a start date, pending our compliance checks.
- All candidates must have a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
