Summary
Hiring a Senior Process Engineer to work on site at a research facility, within a multi-disciplinary team, for our client based in Saltend, Hull.
This full-time permanent role, offering a competitive salary and benefits.
Contributing to the team, you will be:
• Ensuring efficient availability and reliability of the facility and assets by providing daily technical engineering support
• Resolving operational issues and troubleshooting with technical and chemical engineering support
• Providing design review and assurance during external procurement of small to medium sized lab equipment
• Championing ZERO harm and health and safety
• Supporting capital project research and delivery, applications, and MoC processes
• Completing project design and design calculations, maintaining document control and producing equipment purchase datasheets
• Maintaining understanding of regulations/practices and developing personal and team competencies, meeting objectives and KPIs whilst developing effective working relationships
Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent in chemical engineering
• Experience working and contributing in a 24/7 energy, gas or chemical process industry
• Ability to develop and proactively work towards, and meet, project requirements using strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Willingness to travel/stay overnight, and work additional hours as required, to support other facilities
