e-Rostering Coordinator – (Band 5)

The People Systems & Analytics team at Kingston Hospital are looking to appoint a WORKFORCE SYSTEMS COORDINATOR who will be part
of our friendly e-rostering and ESR support team, providing advice, guidance and solutions to hospital services as we make optimum use of digital workforce tools.

This post is available on an agile basis and remote working will be agreed to suit the successful applicant - our offices are based in Teddington.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has knowledge and experience of providing support, configuration and implementation of the Healthroster system, rota management and rostering best practice. They should have the interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships with our service managers and senior medical staff. Ideally, they should also have a working knowledge of Agenda for Change terms and conditions as they relate to working arrangements conditions).

Key responsibilities include:
• To support Trust staff in the use of People systems (principally Healthroster and ESR), providing advice, guidance and solutions to make optimum use of digital tools
• Provide a responsive, professional and customer focused rostering service by responding to requests and queries from trust employees both via the phone and email inbox
• To promote the use of rostering self-assessment and management tools to trust managers to assist them in monitoring the quality and effectiveness of their live rosters.
• To work as part of an integrated People systems & Analytics team, demonstrating understanding of HR systems and processes to support the seamless interface between ESR and Healthroster, maintaining data integrity
• Manage your own divisional / service portfolio, attending operational meetings as required and provide the support and guidance to resolve any issues identified and make better use of workforce systems
• To resolve technical and rostering process / management queries regarding Healthroster and associated modules.
• To ensure that the system is fully and accurately maintained so that it meets the needs of the Trust, and provides efficient, cost effective and safe rosters in line with Trust policies.
• To provide in-depth training to new and existing end users as required for Medical & Dental and AfC Staff.

The trust offers agile working arrangements including home working but there is a requirement to be on-site at our head office at Teddington and Kingston Hospital for at least half the week.
