Summary

As part of the charity’s exciting growth and development, we are on the lookout for a Trust and Foundations Manager to join their dynamic and high-performing fundraising team, in order to unlock even more of its potential.

This role would be perfect for somebody experienced within Trusts and Foundations, looking for a new and exciting challenge. You will also have experience working with campaigns and be confident to do this.

This is an exciting time to join Carers UK as you’ll be leading their Trusts and Foundations strategy, for a well-developed income stream.

Trusts and Foundations Manager
Full-time Permanent
London / Hybrid
Salary – Up to £42,725

Key responsibilities of the roles will include:
• Writing high quality bids and tenders to a variety of funding bodies
• Implementing their strategy to secure income and build a sustainable stream
• Managing one Trusts & Foundations Officer
• Securing restricted and unrestricted funding for the charities core activity
• Liaising with the SLT on the preparation of funding bids
• Stewardship of existing funders, including providing updates to show the good work being done
• Assisting with the creation and development of strategies to maximise income generation

The ideal candidate for this role will:
• Be experienced within Trusts and Foundations
• Have campaign experience
• Will have demonstrable experience of writing successful proposals including multiyear funding
• Be able to effectively research and identify new sources for funding
• Have great attention to detail, strong organisation and time management skills
• Be confident and personable, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
