Summary


The Women’s Health Leadership Team are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Service Manager to join the experienced team at the Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting time to join our friendly and supportive team and to contribute to the continuing development and improvement of the Service. We need a calm, approachable, self-motivated, and innovative Leader who can help develop staff, create, and maintain processes and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire their colleagues as we continue to implement new working processes across the Division.

The role of Service Manager is essential to the smooth running of the Obstetric & Gynaecology services by providing leadership and operational management. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the income, activity, administrative team, and overall processes relating to the day to day service and the NHS care targets

Through line management and teamwork, you will support the safe and effective delivery of care, playing an important role in the co-ordinating of patients by ensuring administrative processes and information are efficient and effective within the areas of responsibility.

The ability to lead change and bring structure to discussions and processes is a central part of the role. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft programmes; experience of working in a clinical setting, experience of collating and reporting data at a local level and problem solving- all of which are essential for the post.
