Summary
My client, a busy manufacturing company in Liskeard, are looking to recruit 2 or 3 yard operative to join their hard-working team.
You must have experience working with timber using hand and power tools to be accepted for this role - Please do not apply if you do not have experience in a timber environment.
Yard Operative Role.
Pensilva – Liskeard.
Weekly on-going.
The role and requirements:
• Helping to manufacture and shape wood.
• Must have experience working with Timber.
• Needs Safety Boots.
• Lots of heavy lifting.
• Must be comfortable with Outdoor Work.
• Ideally an agricultural background.
• Using nail guns and cutting equipment to help shape wood into square panels.
• Driving license and own vehicle due to the location and timings of the role.
What we can offer:
• Monday to Thursday 0730-1630.
• Friday 0715-1515.
• No weekends.
• £11.44 per hour on 1st April 2024.
• Temp to perm after 12 weeks.
• All training included and PPE.
It’s a busy, noisy working environment and you will be given the necessary PPE to do the job correctly, safely, and efficiently.
We are looking for candidates who want to join this forward-thinking team and be able to work long term within the company where there is scope to develop within the business.
Due to the location of the warehouse, driving will be essential, and you will need access to a vehicle.
