Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gate Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various metal components using hand and power tools. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required materials and fabrication processes
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using hand tools and power tools
- Weld components together using Mig welding techniques
- Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the fabricated components
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the fabrication process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functionality of different components
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
