Summary
Job Title: Steel Fabricator/Welder
Company: J.G.B Steelcraft (UK) Limited
Location: Glasgow (Hillington Industrial Estate)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 7:00-5:30 (4 Day Week)
Holidays: 28 days, including closure on bank holidays and over the Christmas period
Pension: Company Nest pension scheme
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld steel components according to fabrication drawings and design tolerances
Work with 3mm Mild Steel MIG welding consistently
Manage fabrication jobs from start to finish, ensuring an excellent finish at all times
Adhere to industry standards and safe working practices
Maintain quality assurance documentation
Work independently and efficiently, using own skills and knowledge to complete projects
Demonstrate welding skills at weld test prior to starting
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Steel Fabricator/Welder
Proficiency in MIG welding of 3mm Mild Steel
Ability to work independently from fabrication drawings
Strong understanding of industry standards and safe working practices
Attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple fabrication jobs concurrently
Excellent communication skills
