SEN Teaching Assistant - Radcliffe (M26)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A Radcliffe based Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Key Stage 2 from May to July 19th, 2024.

Position Details:

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Radcliffe Primary School, Radcliffe (M26)

Start Date: May 2024

End Date: July 19th, 2024

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch)

Contract: Temporary

Responsibilities:

Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs in Key Stage 2.

Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson materials to meet the needs of SEN students.

Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of SEN students.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary school setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

A patient and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Relevant qualifications and training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
