Role: SEN Teaching Assistant at a special needs high school in Salford.

This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate that all children can make progress no matter their obstacles, live active lives & contribute to society.
- Starting in ASAP.
- Full time, Monday to Friday 8:15am-3:15pm.
- Temp to perm for the right person.
- Excellent pay up to £90/day - for the first 12 weeks, then increased from the 13th week onwards in line with what the school would pay you on contract.
- Paid PAYE direct by Tradewind.
- FREE access to over 2,500 online courses via The National College.
- You will need to offer a holistic approach involving academic, emotional, behavioural, pastoral and physical support.
- You will be working in groups of no more than 8 pupils at a time.
- Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to deliver the best outcomes for your pupils.
- Sometimes you may need work 1:1.
- This is a special needs school in Salford for secondary aged children with Autism, Learning Difficulties and other needs.
- Rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
- Access to school run CPD for long term staff.
- Collaborative, welcoming and inclusive team environment.
- Supportive & approachable management.
- Easily accessible by bus, train, tram or car.

To join us and be successful in this Salford based SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
- Overseas Police Certificates (if applicable).
- Minimum of 2 professional references.
- Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Some experience supporting children with special needs.
