Summary


( DRIVER ESSENTIAL)
We provide support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism and physical disabilities, across Wales. We do that in a number of ways from providing 24-hour support within their own homes, to providing shorter, more focused support to assist with individual tasks or care needs, which are often determined in conjunction with Social Services. The people we support, and their families are at the support of what we do so we are looking for individuals who have the right skills, experience and ability to provide a high quality of support and care to really make a difference.
Service Managers work alongside the Area Manager and the Senior Leadership team, enabling the Support teams to deliver quality service to the people we support within their home and also in the community. Service managers are also responsible for managing and building positive relationships with all stakeholders and putting our vision and values into action to deliver first class service. Managers will ensure we are complaint and are able to evidence this to our commissioners.
What we can offer you: salary of £28590.45 - £29140.26
(Pro rata Depending on choice of Salary below)
· £14.86 - 15.15 Flexible rate choose what suits you benefit option - 20 days annual leave (plus statutory) rising to 25 after 5 years + Bank Holidays in lieu. or Lower rate salary for 25 days leave on starting rising to 30 after 5 years.
· 45p per mile when using your own vehicle to support individuals and travel from call to call paid weekly.
· £60.00 per shift for working a sleeping in shift
· Enhancements for some bank holidays
· Occupational sick pay.
· Enhances Maternity leave after qualifying period
· Fully paid training and support to achieve QCF qualifications

What We Expect from you:

A commitment to enabling people to live independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.
You will have achieved a QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care
Have the commitment to work towards a QCF level 4 or 5 in Health and Social care
Commitment to Continuous professional Development
Good Communication and networking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
A flexible approach to work and the willingness and ability to work flexibly including evening and weekends there is also a requirement for Sleeping overnight in service.
Computer Literate and have knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office packages including Excel and outlook.
A positive attitude to change and embracing new systems.
