Are you an outstanding Specialty or Associate Specialist Doctor looking for your next challenge in psychiatry – and a competitive salary?

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to progress your career to Consultant level through our prestigious CESR programme.

We have an opportunity for a full-timeSpecialty Doctor to shape services at Cygnet Hospital Woking – while being fully supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist and first-class multidisciplinary team.

Cygnet Hospital Woking is a 60 bed hospital which offers a range of secure mental health services for men and women, an acute female service, and a female PICU. Cygnet Lodge Woking, our sister hospital close by, offers a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service and an acute service for men, extending our care pathways.

This role will be based on Greenacre ward, our 18-bed male low secure service. Men on Greenacre may experience behaviours that are challenging, including self-harm or aggression and may be considered a risk to others or have been involved in the criminal justice system.

Our teams across our secure services support a focus on recovery, reducing the time people have to spend on the ward. Minimising length of stay is a key focus and our secure wards benefit from being part of our integrated pathways of care, which aim to smooth transitions and shorten lengths of stay. These pathways include our neighbouring male mental health rehabilitation service, Cygnet Lodge Woking.

At Cygnet, our perks go way beyond pension schemes and excellent professional development.

You’ll also enjoy shopping, travel and leisure discounts – as well as a range of healthcare and financial benefits – to support you to be happy both in and out of work.
