Summary

The post holder will lead on transformation of diagnostic care services and pathways, including all imaging modalities. Transformation opportunities will be within our organisation and working with partners across the North West London integrated care system.

You will have accountability for embedding innovations and improvements that improve patient care quality and staff experience, make better use of resources including achieving financial efficiencies, delivering major capital investment benefits including in digital, and building skills and capabilities across all staff groups.

This is a fixed term role to identify potential opportunities for improvement, engage teams in this process, set out programme of initiatives to realise benefits and design appropriate future resource and governance needs.
• Leading trust-wide workstreams on diagnostic care. This includes developing long term plan, prioritising programme of initiatives, engaging stakeholders on design and delivery, embedding best practice governance and ways of working, and leading/faciliating implementation of specific improvements
• Collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to support operational excellence and improvements across diagnostics, including recovery and productivity gains addressing waiting list and Covid backlogs
• Contribute as a senior leader team member within the transformation team to our overall approach, culture and performance
• Support effective partnerships with other organisations across North West London to learn, share and develop improved practices in diagnostic care

The post holder is expected to operate at a senior level in the organisation, interpreting complex information and make presentations to the Board, sub-committees and large groups of senior staff. They must form highly effective working relationships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues providing expert knowledge and advice on financial management within the context of high quality clinical service delivery

The post holder will deputise for the Director of Strategy and Transformation as required, representing the department at key management and operational meetings. They will also support the Trust and Deputy CEO in developing any plans which deliver long term sustainability in support of the Trust’s overall strategic business plan and regulatory requirements.
