Summary
Our Clients in London are looking for staff to provide domiciliary care to their service users on a day-to-day basis, and help them to live more fulfilling lives in their own home. You will provide high-quality person-centred care, support the service user to take on a wide range of care needs, with their individual personality and lifestyle choices being considered.
You will also encourage, support service users in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives in their homes by providing high-quality person centred care.
You will be responsible for a wide range of care needs, while taking into account their individual personality and lifestyle choices. This Caregiver will have to be flexible and work a range of shift patterns e.g. alternate weekends.
You may be required to undertake other duties within the grade of the job, as directed by the line manager.
Qualifications:
1. NVQ 2 or be willing to work towards Diploma in Health and Social Care Care Certificate -
2. Be willing to participate in training relevant for this post e.g. the Care Certificate, Mandatory Training
Other Requirements for this Position:
Ability to use your skills to make a real difference to service users and their families at a very difficult time in their lives
Excellent listening skills
Ability to build up a rapport with people
Respect for individuals, regardless of race, gender, culture
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
A friendly, caring and sensitive approach
Full, clean Driving Licence would be desirable
Previous experience of working within a care environment
Ability to learn new skills and gain new experience
Ability to use own initiative
Ability to communicate effectively
Information Technology IT literate
