Summary
To be first point of contact for any safeguarding issues when staff or external partners seek support , advice or guidance. Review and appropriately refer any allegation / disclosure of abuse and actively participate in all multi agency strategy and professional's meetings, ensuring relevant actions are appropriately implemented and monitored. Contribute to and participate in any relevant Serious Case Review / Safeguarding Adult Review and Domestic Homicide Review and ensure actions relevant to the Trust are implemented and monitored. To provide support and advice regarding safeguarding issues in respect of advice and escalate as appropriate through Safeguarding reporting structure. Effectively deal with complaints, debrief relevant staff and identify improvements following an incident and amend and distribute training accordingly through lessons learnt. Support the Safeguarding service to provide appropriate assurance to the Trust that all Safeguarding processes are integrated into healthcare delivery.
