Summary

Exciting opportunity to join FM Conway’s Structures division as an Assistant Project Manager to work on a major structural refurbishment project. As our Assistant Project Manager you will be providing support to the site team and coordinate all ground investigation, stabilisation works and highways civil improvements. This is a permanent full-time position based in London.

The duties of the Assistant Project Manager role will include:

-Supporting with sub-contractor site management

-Working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager ensuring that the project is set up correctly with appropriate resources allocated for the works

-Pro-actively manage any changes in project scope

-Managing sub-contractors performance and technical capabilities

-Preparing or assisting in the production of the contract programme

-Ensuring that works are set up and maintained in accordance with the Structure Works Package Plan

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for Assistant Project Manager with previous structures, engineering or highway infrastructure experience. You will ideally have knowledge of steel fabrications, bridge jacking and engineering works. The successful candidate must hold a CSCS and SMSTS card.
