Summary


We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The post provides lots of variety and as a member of the administration team you will support both Social Service and NHS staff.

The administration teams aim is to ensure that all data and administrative functions are delivered and run smoothly for the benefit of the service and its service users. Therefore we are looking to recruit someone with excellent inter-personal skills and initiative who can work in a busy team.

Your work will range from the administration of incoming referrals, booking appointments, supporting the team with administration of reports, assessment letters and answering incoming telephone calls from clients, their families and third parties, acting as first point of contact for the Older Peoples Mental Health Team in Bracknell.

Hours are 16 per week, worked over four mornings to be arranged with the successful candidate.
• To be a central point of contact and maintain relationships across the service, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures.
• Type confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation to a high standard within an agreed timescale using a word processor and software packages.
• Assist with planning and arranging meetings both internal and external to the service.
• Attend designated meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive, taking, and transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and coming out of meetings.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office / customer / call centre environment.
2. NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification/experience.
3. Good interpersonal, communication, observation, and reporting skills.
4. Good IT skills and the ability to navigate around various systems and software packages (such as MS Teams, MS office and the Internet).
