Connect Appointments are recruiting for our clients award-winning Dunfermline team as a Mechanical Assembly Operative!
What's on offer? A permanent opportunity full-time position working either day or night shift - paid at a competitive salary of £26,000 to £41,500 per annum DOE (+£120 per week Night shift allowance). But that's not all, you will benefit from 33 days holiday per year; readily available overtime with high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
Day or Night shift on offer:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
- Sunday to Wednesday, 20:00 to 06:30 - Thursday overtime from 18:00
Our client's product range covers everything from refrigerated double deck trailers to clinical waste vehicles, and our talented team designs and builds industry-leading products that are exceptionally well engineered and of outstanding quality. Working as a Mechanical Assembly Operative, your duties will include:
- Working to a high standard in line with policies and procedures
- Use air hand tools and work from drawings
- Maintain 5S standards throughout the workplace
- Collaborate with team members to produce exceptional products
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
To be successful, you will ideally be a time served, skilled, or semi-skilled Mechanical Assembly Operative - ideally with previous experience in a manufacturing/workshop environment. Combined with:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with hand/air sealer gun and ability to work in a team environment
- A valid HGV category 3 license is desirable - but not essential
