Summary

The Wellbeing Advisor role is an integral member of the Wellbeing Team. This role is to provide wellbeing support to our staff to enable them to be happy and healthy at work.

Communication is key to this role. A key focus of the role is to actively listen to our staff and signpost them to support services.





The main duties of the job are to support the wellbeing of our staff by actively listening to our people and providing signposting information.

The Wellbeing Advisor will support to raise the profile of the wellbeing team and promote awareness of our wellbeing support offers by delivering support sessions/presentations, and promoting and attending wellbeing events & initiatives. This will also include participating in engagement talks, ward visits and being visible to our staff.

The role will involve working independently and as part of a team to support our staff across both acute and community sites. This role base will be at Eastbourne District General Hospital, however, travelling across sites will be required as this is a Trustwide Wellbeing Advisor role.

Other main duties include; carrying out general administrative duties, providing administration support to the Wellbeing Team and using a variety of communication methods to reach our staff including: phone calls, emails, virtual video calls, ward visits and promoting our support offers on social media.
