Trust Doctor Post in Neonatology
This is a post in Neonatology participating in the separate Neonatal SHO level rolling rota. This post is recognized by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as suitable for training and retrospective recognition of this post may be achieved.
This post is based at the Neonatal Unit, Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children. The appointee will however work closely with colleagues on all sites, indeed the Trust expects all staff to be committed to cross-site working.

Main duties of the job
Neonatal Trust SHO
Based at St Helier Hospital
Fixed Term Contract - 6 months (possibility of extension)
Start Date:
We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor at FY2 level or above to join the Paediatrics team based at St Helier Hospital as a Trust Neonatal SHO. This is a 6 month role initially, with the possibility of extension.
The successful post holder will obtain experience primarily in our Neonatal unit.
The post holder will be required to participate on the Junior rota which is 1 in 6 full shift.
The successful candidate will have GMC registration with a licence to practise, and a minimum of 2 year's post registration experience.
