Summary


We have an exciting opportunity available for a permanent Patient Process Facilitator to join our ED team. You will be working as part of a well established team and the wider multi disciplinary team to promote the efficient flow of patients within the Trust and support both the medical and nursing team with diagnostic requests and result management. You will maximise the use of beds whilst ensuring the optimum environment for patient care in order to facilitate the Trust in maintaining bed capacity and supporting the achievement of the Urgent and Emergency Care Standards. You will be responsible for the daily reporting of delays of time in department. You will communicate with other trusts regarding bed availability and outpatient referrals.

This role will be flexible, working to cover as demand predicts over a 24 hour 7 day period. We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills and an excellent working knowledge of all IT systems used within a clinical health care setting.
