Summary

Job Description
As a Care Practitioner working nights at Plas Dyfrynn, you will be required to undertake night duty 2 or 3 nights a week from the hours of 10pm to 8am at a small 16 bed care home. NVQ level 2 or 3 is desirable but will accept unqualified applicants who are willing to commence NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care. Should the successful applicant be unqualified, they will be required to work at least 1 day shift per week of 8 hours to allow them to gain the necessary training and experience whilst working towards their Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to all residents’ personal care throughout the night when needed.
Monitor health and wellbeing of all residents.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Night duties also include an element of cleaning and vegetable preparation as well as laundry duties.
Qualifications
Level 2 or 3 in health and social care (Diploma or NVQ) or equivalent desirable but not essential.
Unqualified applicants must be willing to commence Level 2 in health and social care which is to be completed within a 12 month period.
Registered with Social Care Wales.
