Senior People Business Partner
London. The Shard/Hybrid - Full time

We are looking for an experienced Senior People Business Partner to partner with senior Directors and leadership teams across all Group Functions. You will be responsible for implementing business specific people strategies including compensation and benefits, recruitment, engagement, and development in line with the Centres of Excellence.
You should be capable of designing professional and commercial people solutions, able to support each of the functions to develop a people plan appropriate to their functional objectives. You should enable and lead on the people elements of those plans, providing advice to the business in terms of the best approach. You will also work with the wider HR community to ensure people policies, initiatives and procedures are fit for purpose and meet the medium/long term needs of the business.
You will partner with key senior stakeholders to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of contracts, contract performance against targets to inform the People Plan priorities. You will also actively monitor data on labour costs, employment relations and sickness absence to identify trends, risks and cost saving opportunities and agree relevant action plans with Directors.
The ideal candidate will have CIPD qualification and experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment, and a broad experience in all aspects of an HR Business Partnering including reward, employee relations, talent, succession planning, restructuring and leadership. Will have experience in the use of a range of techniques to support training and development activities, selection and compensation and benefits is required. (eg: TNA, psychometrics, salary surveys), and have a clean driving licence.
You must be comfortable working with Group (i.e. Corporate) functions, with a good understanding of how they work best to support the trading divisions. The role will include management responsibility for a People Business Partner.
