Summary


The Neurosciences department has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic administration manager to join the team.

The post holder will be responsible for management of an efficient, effective and comprehensive administration team and will need to be flexible, approachable and resilient.

• The post holder will be responsible for line managing the wider administrative team and leading on HR processes and investigations in relation to this.
• The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the team is working towards, and in line with, Trust and national guidelines and targets.
• The post holder will have the opportunity to identify and implement service developments and improvements within the department.
• The post holder will play a key role in the accuracy of internally and externally reported data.
• The post holder will have involvement in informal and formal patient complaints and any subsequent investigations.
• The post holder will be required to work closely with the wider clinical teams.
• The post holder will be required to represent the department at Trust wide forums and meetings.
• Due to the varied nature of the role, the post holder will need to be dynamic, adaptable and an effective communicator.

• Manage a comprehensive efficient and effective administration and clerical service to the Clinical Board / Departments including: -
- Design, implement and monitor service improvements.
- Staff appointments.
- Training and development.
• Contribute as a member of the Clinical Board Management team.
- Communicate with Senior Clinicians.
- Attend MDT meetings.
- Contribute to the Business Planning process.
