FURTHER INFORMATION:
A friendly dynamic and fun-loving PA are needed to provide companionship and support to a woman with learning disabilities and Autism in her 20s. She is a fun loving and lively young woman who loves shopping and talking. The role is about providing companionship.
The appointed PA would be responsible to support this young lady in the community and accessing social and leisure opportunities, therefore someone who can provide support whilst being very patient and sympathetic to this young lady’s disability would be the ideal applicant. She does not like crowed places or loud noises. She does have a good sense of humour and a lot of energy. She needs a lot of guidance as she has little sense of danger. The PA needs to be agile. The appointed PA will be a companion and facilitator for enjoying a range of pastime and outings and will ideally be enthusiastic, intelligent, creative and able to support this young lady to maximize her independence.
