Summary

Support Worker – Forfar, Angus (must be over 21 years of age)

Permanent Contracted hours: Full Time

£12.00 per hour - Driver desirable but not essential

We support people to live within their own home, access the community and lead meaningful lives and partake in holidays with support as well as many different forms of outdoor activities like, fishing trips, go-karting and football. The service is staffed with various shifts to ensure that individual’s needs are fully met.

We support people within supported living homes or flats, we also support within the community setting.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently going through a period of growth, and we are continuing to search for permanent contracted Support Workers who really want to make an impact on the lives of the people we support.

The role

Across all services, you will be supporting people with learning disabilities, some mental health issues and Autism, with some challenging behaviours at times. Therefore you must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to ensure a consistent approach and that the individuals needs are being met.

Real Life Options offers flexible employment opportunities. This role will include shift working, including evenings, and weekends. Waking night shifts are essential

Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.

A PVG is required for this role.
