Summary


The successful candidate will fulfil the role of Radiology Senior Clerical Office, responsible for leading the Radiology and Cardio Respiratory reception team across both Southport and Ormskirk sites.

This will include covering weekdays, weekends, and evenings across both sites, 37.5 hours per week.





The main purpose of the role is to provide high quality, confidential, professional Clerical services to the Radiology Department.

The post holder is responsible for delivering an effective and efficient reception service at Southport & Formby District General Hospital. The post holder will supervise a team of clerical staff ensuring the provision of a high quality diagnostic imaging service for patients and hospital staff.

To be involved in a range of duties requiring good communication and organisational skills, have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, have an awareness of customer care and a flexible and adaptable attitude.

To assist patients when attending the Radiology Department, adhering to Trust and Directorate policies, and liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team where necessary.

The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
