Summary

Location: Working at both Redbridge Town Hall - 128 - 142 High Road, IG1 1DD and Sir James Hawkey Hall Broomhill Rd, Woodford Green IG8 0BG



We are looking for a brand-new team of Facilities and Venue Assistants to work at our newly refurbished Redbridge Town Hall and our popular Sir James Hawkey Hall. Our Facilities and Venue Assistants will be a key figure in our team, taking on the responsibility for setting up of furniture for hires and events and working alongside the Halls Manager.



Job Role:

To ensure all function rooms, furniture and equipment meet our high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
To provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
Setup/clear down of venues for functions, moving up to 400 chairs and 40 tables as part of a team to agreed layouts and returning them to their stores
To oversee venue lettings hires
To clean the venue before and after each hire


Essential requirements:

Experience of working within a customer service or hospitality related role
Ability to work together as part of a team
To be organised, prioritise workload and work to deadlines
These posts will involve lone working, late evening, weekend, and bank holiday working as required.
