Summary
Location: Hainault Forest, Romford Road, Chigwell, IG7 4QN
Located within the scenic views of Hainault Forest, our newly restored venue comprising of a Café, Events space, Farm and other public areas. The venue opened to the public in Spring after a year of work, allowing us to bring this new project to life with a brand new team and a unique opportunity to help put Hainault Forest on the map.
Working in our new start of the art kitchen, you will be part of a brand new team starting from scratch to provide healthy and hearty meals to our customers. We are looking for someone who’s committed to maintaining highest standards in the kitchen and during the meal preparation process. You should have a passion for food and hospitality environment. You must be reliable, dedicated and flexible when it comes to working patterns.
Job role:
Prepare all menu components as requested to the required standards
Follow cleaning schedule for kitchen and related areas
Follow HACCAP, COSSH and other H&S regulations as required
Operate all equipment safely and in line with instruction
Assist with any other task within scoop of the role as required
Essential requirements:
Understanding of food preparation and processes
Ability work as part of the team and on their own initiative
Ability to follow instruction and execute to the highest standards
Experience in kitchen environment beneficial
