Caledonia Water Alliance is a joint venture between Morrison Water Services and AECOM. They are responsible for the design and delivery of the SR21 portfolio of works on behalf of Scottish water.
Morrison Water Services are recruiting for a MEICA Site Manager to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract in Stepps, Glasgow.
As the MEICA Site Manager you will be part of our MEICA team. Who are responsible for efficient delivery of the MEICA construction aspects across the programme.You will ensure that all site activity is planned and executed to the highest standards and in accordance with the CWA and Scottish Water requirements.
You will be required to liaise closely with the MEICA project and management team and all project stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective project delivery. You will be responsible for the delivery of the MEICA construction elements to the agreed time, cost & quality requirements to support the MEICA team. You will be required to effectively manage the MEICA site team and sub-contractors. Ensuring all safety documentations, certification and reports are correct, up to date and relevant. Ensuring that all reports are produced and submitted at the correct time in the correct format. You will work closely with planning team to build delivery programmes and monitor progress. Producing a 2 Week Lookahead Programme each week to improve planning activities and identify areas of concern early.
You be responsible for managing the procurement and delivery of the MEICA element of the projects. Monitoring lead times and deliveries. Compiling asset data information in the form of photographs and nameplate data. Providing reports and escalation of procurement issues to the MEICA project engineer and individual project management. You will manage subcontractors and the site workforce whilst on site. Ensuring the correct adherence to health and safety regulations and works specifications. You will be responsible for preparing and manage comprehensive MEICA project documentation in support of the overall project delivery. Including (but not limited to) Commissioning records, Asset script data, Modification templates. Update of drawings and registers, finalisation of commissioning records, Training Plans and O&M manual submissions.
Do you have experience within the water industry?

Do you have previous experience involved within a contract management team driving a project forward?

Have you gained previous experience in managing subcontractors?

Do you have a full driving license? this role it is essential
