Summary
**Job Title: Power Press Setter**
**Location:** Redditch
**Hours: ** Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:45/ Fri 08:00-14:00
**Pay: ** £14.00ph
**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a skilled Power Press Setter to join a busy engineering company in the Redditch.
**Responsibilities:**
* Set up power presses according to production schedules and engineering drawings.
* Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed, and depth of stroke to ensure proper operation.
* Load materials into the press and align them correctly for processing.
* Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects in the finished product.
* Perform routine maintenance on power presses to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Working with 20t to 160t Chin Fong and similar presses.

**Requirements:**
* Previous experience as a Power Press Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
* ROSPA or similar safety certificate
