Summary


We are looking for a trainee assistant practitioner to join our Inpatient Wards as part of Home First Services in Doncaster. The role is to provide therapy assessment and treatment of patients and to provide first point of contact for assessment as determined by the physiotherapist or occupational therapist. You will work as part of the team to provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of older adults or those patients with frailty.

We'll provide regular training, supervision, appraisals and support.

The role requires a non-registered, Practitioner, with previous experience of working in a therapy support worker role and specialist skills, to support the continuous assessment of patient's needs and to implement treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework.

You must be able to work effectively under the supervision and leadership of registered professionals to provide high quality care to our Neurorehabilitation patients.

You will provide supervision and support for band 3 assistant staff.
