Purovets have a fabulous opportunity for an enthusiastic, social, and caring full or part time small animal veterinary surgeon to join an expanding independent practice located in a coastal town in Essex. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of ten vets, fourteen RVN's, three SVN's and seven receptionists. A proudly independent, client-focused practice, they are RCVS, ISFM and RWAF accredited. You will be working in Clacton-on-Sea, less than a five minutes' walk from lovely golden beaches but with good links to Colchester, Ipswich and London.
The practice is Tier 2 accredited, recently refurbished and extended as well as being registered as a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre. They have a full range of services that enables them to provide the highest standards of veterinary care. Their aim is to provide a top-level service to patients via the most modern medical and surgical equipment, the latest veterinary techniques, and continuous up-to-date staff training and professional development. They aim to create a supportive work environment that emphasizes collaboration, compassion and puts patient care and the client experience at the forefront of what we do. You will be working in a modern and fully-equipped operating theatre with access to endoscopy, microscopy, x-ray suite, a new ultrasound machine, tonometer, ECG, dental suite and separate cat and dog wards with isolation facilities.
My client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills who has an empathetic and caring approach to both patients and clients alike. To fit in with the existing team you will be friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to upholding a gold standard of Veterinary care. Candidates should be interested in working up and following through their cases to completion or handing over to colleagues when appropriate. Good communication skills, both with colleagues and clients, is incredibly important. My client is looking for candidates with 2-3 years of UK experience and is open to considering sponsorship licences for foreign vets.
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- 4 day week
- Three 9am starts, one 8:30am start
- Two 5:30pm finishes, two 7pm finishes
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am - 12pm
- No OOHs
