Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gas Inspector to join our team. As a Gas Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of gas installations and equipment. You will conduct inspections, perform tests, and analyze results to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
Perform tests, such as pressure and performance tests, on gas supply systems and appliances
Analyze test results and document findings accurately and thoroughly
Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and stakeholders regarding gas safety requirements
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations related to gas installations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Certified Gas Technician license (CGT) or equivalent certification
Proven experience in conducting gas inspections and tests
Strong knowledge of gas safety codes and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
High ethical standards and commitment to workplace safety
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £27.85
