Summary
Job Title: Electrical Inspector
Location: North London / Hybrid
Contract: 6-months ongoing
Pay: Inside IR35 - Negotiable
A local authority based in North London are currently recruiting for an Interim Electrical Inspector.
Main Responsibilities
• MS Outlook – Writing emails and updating Engineers and Project Managers
• Meetings – writing meeting notes and actions
• Surveys of Low/High rise buildings
• Report writing, Condition Reports/Feasibility Reports (MS Excel & MS Word)
• Inspections –
• highlighting issues of Electrical Services i.e. specification, regulatory, health & safety or engineering preference
• recording journey for project
• Customer Care – liaising with residents and working out of hours (time given back in lieu)
• Quality & Standards – Snagging with the Main Contractor and recording this for file
• Handover – Soft landings process to Repairs & Maintenance
Qualifications/Experience
• City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent
• IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
• 5years+ previous working experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of Electrical Installations (Domestic and Residential Buildings (Communal))
