About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrician to become a part of our dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining the safety and efficiency of electrical systems across various sites, including residential homes, schools, and council properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive repair work in homes and communal areas, ensuring high standards of work and compliance with safety regulations.
- Test and certify electrical work according to the IET Wiring Regulations and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety practices for the protection of tenants and operatives.
- Efficiently manage, safeguard, and maintain testing instruments and electrical equipment.
- Replenish and record electrical materials for van stock.
- Conduct electrical repairs, maintenance, and minor installations in various properties, focusing on safety and quality.
- Utilize PDAs to accurately record works completed.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds 2391, 2392/2394, 2395 for Inspection & Testing competence.
- City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience in reactive repairs within a social housing or residential environment is ideal.
- Proficient in inspecting, testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical installations.
- Capable of completing necessary electrical certification/reports.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
