Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, providing care and support to the early years (0-5) and neonatal population.

This is a new and innovative role with exposure to both community and acute sector working, supported by an established paediatric community team and the new LMNS AHP neonatal team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech and language therapists.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of different settings, including people’s homes, nurseries, schools and two days in a Neonatal unit.

If you are currently working with children, or have a passion to work with children, then this opportunity is for you! A robust induction and ongoing training programme will be provided, including regular supervision and joint working alongside specialist physiotherapists and MDT colleagues. Previous experience working with children and/or neonates is desirable but not essential!

This role supports the early years population within Coventry and supports the Neonatal units within Coventry and Warwickshire.

Person Specification- Essential criteria
• Physiotherapy degree
• Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
• Ability to practice independently within clinical area.
• Ability to provide clinical advice on an individual case basis.
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Significant previous experience as a qualified physiotherapist
• Clinical experience with transferable skills to a paediatric caseload
• Interacts well with others / team working
• Works with Initiative
• Self Motivation
• Reliable
• Approachable
• Commitment to personal development
• Demonstrates flexibility to deal with unpredictable workload
• Car driver/owner (It is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement).
