Summary
We are a diverse family farm based at St. Agnes in Cornwall. The business includes a 700 acre beef and arable farm, a 60 pitch campsite, two holiday cottages and a solar farm.
We require a versatile, experienced, builder with an interest in agriculture and estate maintenance.
As a family business it is very important that you can happily work as part of a small friendly team whilst also being able to work well without supervision.
The role will involve all aspects of estate maintenance along with assisting with larger projects such as residential and farm building construction. We also require someone who is willing and able to help with farm work at times. This will mainly be the supervision of the grain dryer at harvest in August / September and assistance with haylage wrapping in June. ( Full training to be given.) These two tasks will require a candidate willing to work extended and variable hours but the remainder of the year would involve set start and finish times.
This is a job which will offer a lot of variety and often in very picturesque surroundings with up to date and well maintained equipment. A beautiful two bed roomed home is available with this job which is situated on a separate farm at Mingoose, St. Agnes.
A good rate of pay will be offered depending upon experience and accommodation requirement.
Attention to detail and a clean, tidy nature is essential.
