Summary

We would like to invite you to become part of the team on ward C16 at Peterborough City Hospital. We are a very friendly and welcoming team, who strive to provide the best high quality care to our patients. The team has its very own enthusiastic consultants and nurses who provide the very best patient centred specialised care.

You will be equipped with the complex nursing skills required to deal with challenging behaviour, and will be educated on how to aid in safe and effective discharges from hospital. You will be fully supported by the matron, and ward manager who work regularly on the floor alongside the team, embedding the highest level of nursing skills and care. We strive to promote a friendly and supportive environment where learning from each other is paramount.



To act as team leader taking responsibility for the organisation and day to day management of a team of nurses.

To effectively lead and be responsible for the ward team and clinical care carried out in a designated area in absence of and in conjunction with the Ward Manager.

To lead in designated area/s in close liaison with the Ward Manager, Matrons and the Practice Development Team to provide the highest quality of assessment and evaluated care required to support each patient in their care pathway.
